The Idaho Couples Golf Association is a social organization for men and women playing golf in a Chapman Format. (see definition below). The handicap system is one of the fairest possible for everyone to have their chance to be in the money. We provide fun side games and have wonderful meals after play at most courses. The tournaments are across the State of Idaho, Utah and Nevada so everyone has a chance to attend a few close to their area.
The Chapman Format: Each player (man and women) hit their drive. The couple switches drives for their second shot. From those shots, the couple decides on the ball they want to continue play with and the opposite play who hit that shot must continue play on the ball, alternating shots until the ball is in the hole.
